Food Breakdown By %

Does anyone know what the recommended break down of daily calories by percent should be . . . i.e. % fat, % carbs, % protein???

Right now I’m hovering around 20% fat, 30% carbs, and 50% protein.

This all depends upon your goals. A lot of people will suggest you read John Berardi’s stuff.

He has some good information. Additionally, I’d recommend you search the articles here, I’m guessing Lowery has some good stuff, he usually does.

Yes like the other poster said very goal and individual dependent. Find what works for you. IMO what is most important is what those C,P, F consist of not so much the %'s
