Focusing on Powerlifting for the Fall

Hey all, the past few months of training have been a blast but the next comp that I know about that is close enough to drive is in February. I’ll be running the Cube(not for strongman) and doing squat mon, bench wed, dl friday, then saturday will be an extra light DE bench day prior to event training(just a few sets to grease the groove, nothing over 60-70% of my TM for a few sets of 2-3 reps.

I’ll be going from that to smolov to finish out the year and my goal was a 500 lb dl, 450 lb squat, 275 lb overhead, and 315 bench, but all of those should come quickly. I think a 525 lb dl and closer to 475 squat are much more likely.
