It has a PVC core and is supposed to last longer than a regular one. I am not sure if it is worth the extra money…
I seem to recall Cressey or Robertson (one of those two) mentioning that the pvc core was intended for more advanced users. “Advanced” meaning that it will hurt a new user more than the regular one.
I thuoght that referred to just using PVC. This one has foam around a pvc core to keep the shape.
