Fish oil toxicity?

There’s a lot of mercury and other toxic
heavy metal pollutants in fish. This usually
isn’t a big deal if you only eat 'em from
time to time, but what about concentrated
oils? The only brand I’ve seen that mentions
them is the Zone fish oils, which claim to
‘microfilter’ toxins out of the oils. Any
thoughts?

brider posted a link to consumerlab.com yesterday that had some testing on fish oil supplements. Here is the link Fish Oil, Krill Oil, and Algal Oil Omega-3 Supplements Review & Top Picks - ConsumerLab.com. It mentions that none of the products they tested had significant amounts of any of the toxins seen in real fish.

Thanks for the link, that answers my
question!
