First Tattoo on Calf

I’ve been back home about 2 hours since getting it. Cost $400. When I went in they told me getting it on the calf would be quite painful, especially if I wasn’t used to tattooing, and I admit the line work was very painful.

Also can anyone tell me what happens in the end of Taken?

Sorry about the picture quality, this is the best I could do (my digital camera doesn’t work with vista, so I had to go polaroid).

.

Can’t see shit.

Is that Super Mario in a cape?

It’s on the side.

And no, not mario, it’s an eagle

Looks like a scan of a poloroid pic. Can you re-take it?

I keep trying to take a polaroid that comes through, but it seems to focus on the background rather than the tat. I’ll get a friend to take a pic and see if taking it from further away works better.

These might be slightly better

400$ LOL…

You look much different in your avatar.

yeah, poloroid sucks. Call a friend that has a digital. I can sort of see that it is an Eagle and mostly blue and yellow. Ink must be more expensive in AU than US $400 sounds like a lot.

Calf machine FTW

Let me guess, your next tattoo will be a blinged out crucifix or a barb wire around the bicep, right?

Sorry to be a dick, but 3 out of every 4 rednecks in this country have an eagle inked on their body. Go back to the tattoo shop, punch the artist in the face, get your money back and put a new piece over it.

I thought you said it was on your calf. Isn’t that a pic of your forearm?

In NZ, that would have cost me $150. $200 at most.

everything in aus is expensive as fuck compared to america

for example a pair of air forces cost in aus 180-200

including shipping from america the same pair is 120

Uhh no, I hate the barbed wire, and am not christian.

And I’m not from your country

There seems to some agreement between the tattoo shops here. The minimum you can pay (for the smallest piece) is $70, or $90 at some places.

I’m getting a booking with this guy who specialises in japanese tattooing, but the waiting list is 7-10 months. If I get anything done inbetween now and then, it will be more Sailor Jerry work. I’m a big fan, and am considering a couple more of his designs. Maybe I’ll fly over to NZ to get some done.

I know, I’m going to try Tim Henrique’s Calf Solution as soon as the tatt stops stinging. I’m on quite a successful bulk atm, so I’m hoping I can translate that to some good calf development.
