I just cycled through Smolov Jr. for close grip bench press. What do I do during the deload week?
For reference, during the first 2 week of smolov I did heavy deadlifts and military presses on monday and snatch grip deadlifts on thursday, and all CGBP sets were supersetted with dumbell rows. During the third week I deloaded all lifts except for CGBP. Now during the rest week I plan on doing deadlifts, military presses, and dumbell rows normally, and testing my max bench on Saturday. Does this sound reasonable?
