First Cycle... Some Questions

First Cycle… Some Questionsme to do my first cycle. It is out lined below, along with my stats, my diet and a little about my training schedule. Iâ??m sure people have posted the same cycle a bunch of times, but I just wanted to get some ideas and advice (especially about the PCT).

Cycle:
W 1-10 Test Enth 250mg E3D (so 500mg/wk)
W 1-12 Adex 0.25mg EOD (reduce to 0.125mg EOD in last week)
W 3-10 HCG 250iu 3x/wk
I will have Nolva on hand and will run it if I experience any gyno whilst on cycle. If I need to run Nolva, I’ll run it at 20 mg ED.
PCT: I’ll start PCT two weeks after my last pin.
Nolva: 100mg day 1, 50mg 10 days, 20mg 10 days
DAA (help boost nat test) 3 grams ED for 6-8 weeks

Supplements: I’m not huge into most supps because there is so much garbage out there. But I will take protective measures to help my body whilst usingâ?¦
Protein
Glutamine
Amino Acids
Vitamin D
Vitamin C
Joint support
On-Cycle Support (for liver, heart, and other organs)

Stats:
27 y/o,
5’8
205 lbs
I’m unsure about my bodyfat. I plan on getting it tested just before my first injection.
Collectively I’ve been training for 5 years.
Btw, I’ve never done a prohormone or used any type of steroid before. So this cycle will be my first exposure to any type of steroids…

Diet: My current diet. I’ll make some changes before I start. I won’t go into measurements or micro/macro nutrients.
Meal 1: Protein shake, banana (right when I wake up)
Meal 2: egg whites, 2 whole eggs, oatmeal, Fish oil
Meal 3: oatmeal, cottage cheese, almonds
Meal 4: brown rice, steak and chicken, broccoli
Meal 5: large Sweet potato, tuna or tilapia, almonds
Meal 6: brown rice, chicken, broccoli, 100% cocoa chocolate
Pre workout shake w/ protein and glycol charge
Post work out shake w/ protein and glycol charge, watermelon
Meal 7: Steak, pasta
Meal 8 (before bed): broccoli, casein protein, Fish oil
*I have one or two cheat meals a week. Usually my cheat meals are not completely terrible. Ice cream or pizza or just going out to eat.

  • I plan on upping my caloric intake as well throughout the cycle to put on the weight.

Training:
I do legs every 5 days and take 2 days off every 8 days. Kind of crazy, but I have it all scheduled out on my calendar. I train the body parts below:
-Chest and calves
-Back and calves
-Tris and Bis and forearms
-Quads and Hamstrings
-Shoulders and traps
-Abs: I do once a week whenever I feel like it
-Cardio: I took some time off from cardio. I will start once a week in the morning, then up it to twice a week so I don’t have cardiac problems.
Training stats: Not sure about my max weights. I believe in lifting heavy but also doing it slow and controlled and remain focused throughout a movement. I’ll give you a run down of what I normally do:
I don’t bench press with the bar. I do 140 lb dumbbell flat bench for 6-8 reps per set. I normally stick to the 120 lb dumbbells to bang out 10-12 reps.
Deadlift: 405 lb for 6-8 reps
Squats (my favorite exercise): 405 lbs for 6-8 reps(I normally stick to 365 lbs to get 10+ reps)
*I plan on keeping my rep range no less than 8 once on cycle. Obviously depending on body part as well. I just hope my gym can support my strength increase when I go on cycle.

My Goal:
My goal is to put on 25-30 lbs. I know some of it will be water weight but as I said, I will increase my caloric intake and be on point with my PCT in order to keep my gains. Hopefully keep about 20lbs, I hope thatâ??s realistic for a first cycle. Overall, I want to compete in my first NPC show next June.

If you guys want any more details, just ask. I’m not looking for training advice or nutrition advice either. Usually you all ask about training and nutrition so I figured I would let you know that has been on point for a long time now. Oh and I plan on starting this cycle mid September…

So my questions:
-Is that a good first cycle for a newbie? Can you think of anything else to add?
-Any recommendations regarding the PCT? I wasn’t sure about adding the DAA, if any of you could provide advice about that or another Test booster? Should I even use one?

  • What about my PCT Nolva dosages? I’ve done research and a lot of experienced users say that starting with a higher dose of Nolva then tapering it down is the best way. But I’ve also read that 20 mg of Nolva for 3 weeks is just as good. Your thoughts?
    -Also what should be the length of my PCT? Some say 3 weeks, others 4 weeks?
    -Finally, should I take creatine whilst on cycle or use it after cycle? I’ve heard some using it with their PCT. Didn’t know if it mattered. I want to keep bloat down so I may not use it on cycle…

Oops, it should be HCG 250 IU 2x/wk, not 3x/wk. That was a typo. I’ve read that 500 IU/wk is good. Thanks for Jared and sorry about that mistake.
