Finding a TRT Doc

Finding a TRT doc who’s willing to follow the latest/best protocol is a needle-in-a-haystack proposition. My results with this technique have not been good so far.

It seems to me we need a sticky thread that’s a doctor directory…people listing their area and the doctor(s) with whom they’ve worked successfully. I could search through it for a doctor in my area.

Sure would save a lot of time…

Has anyone ever had a good experience with TRT in Canada? Just wondering.

In Canada and the other Commonwealth countries with socialized medicine, getting proper male hormone healthcare is very difficult. Yes, some will report success.

I have had good experience with Titan Men’s Health in the League City / Bay Area, Texas. They have a lab and they are cool and they seem pretty legit/professional.

Can anyone suggest a good TRT/Endocrinologist whom I can see who knows what they’re doing and can get to the root of my low test issues? I’m in Ct in the 203 area code, or some one in NY near the NY/CT border would be ideal.

Dr. Billy May Jr. Baton Rouge Perkins Rd.

Can you tell me anymore about Dr. May? Such as what protocol(s) he uses (weekly cypionate, Arimidex or other AI?)

He uses a standard 200ml / 10 days (Cyp)
No Ai No hCG.
Bloodwork every 5th shot.
You have to go to his office to get the shot until you prove you can self inject.
This is what He’ll likely start you off with.

That said, He isn’t completely unreasonable. I just got him to prescribe hCG for me yesterday.
I haven’t really pushed on the Ai. (Baby Steps)

I’ve also got him to agree to 7 days instead of 10
He allows me to self inject at home now and I use a Monday / Thursday split (He isn’t aware I split the dose)

There aren’t many options in the Baton Rouge area.

I’m currently looking for people in the area to split the hCG. Basically you reconstitute it and it’s only good for 30 days in the fridge. The thought is I’d spit it with someone as My insurance doesn’t cover it.

Hope this helps

Thanks, it’s very helpful to get any first-hand accounts, looks like he is an option (although still an hour away from me)

This is what He’ll likely start you off with.

or

This is what Hell likely start you off with.

It was Hell getting to where I am now. I once asked if I could get a script for Ai citing my estradiol levels and he lowered my dose to .75 cyp / 7 days from 1cc / 7days. I had to wait 4 weeks to get it bumped back up to a full CC/week.(Labs showed low again) I sometimes think it would be easier to get some of this stuff underground.

KSman, I’m trying to get my stubborn doc to prescribe TRT. Have many of the symptoms. If you could reach out to me, I’d love to chat for a bit. I’m in Kansas too. Thanks! @KSman

@KSman Hi ksman i’m in need of some help. I am currently seeing an endo for low t levels and have been injecting cypionate for the last 6 months or so. i inject 0.6 cc from a 200 mg/ml bottle. I think I need to find another DR because i feel this DR might be doing me more harm than good and I’ll explain why. First of all my doctor doesn’t believe in reaching optimal levels of testosterone. He only believes that each individual should be at a certain range depending on age.

For example, I am a 26 year old male and he says that the highest i can go is 630-680 ng/dl. From what i have read online from forums and articles, each individual responds different to different levels of testosterone. For example, one individual might feel great at a testosterone level of 600 ng/dl while another individual might feel the same results from a higher testosterone level of 800 ng/dl.

Another reason why I feel the urgency to find another Dr is because of HCG. My Dr has never spoken to me about HCG. As a matter of fact, I have never heard of using HCG with testosterone until i came upon this forum. I never knew that HCG was used along with trt to avoid testicle atrophy, which at the moment i am experiencing and it is very painful and bothersome. I am very disappointed because as a patient who is seeing a specialist for certain condition, I expect to be treated accordingly and without fault.

Now i know Dr’s are human as well and can make mistakes just as anyone else. but unfortunately they are playing with our lives, and i believe that someone who spends so many years in school and gets paid a great amount of money should be able to treat their patient accordingly. Now i know this isn’t the reason of my discussion, and I also know there is nothing we can do about that, but I was just venting about that. What also dissapoints me about my Dr is that i was experiencing swelling from too much testosterone converting into estrogen, and I had to ask my Dr to test my estrogen levels.

I dont feel like as a patient I should have to ask my Dr to test me for something he should already be testing me for. And my estrogen levels were a few points higher than normal, but he said it was nothing to worry about. So ksman, i would like to know if you think i should seek another Dr and if you can help me find one. I live in miami Florida and i have Molina insurance. It was already very difficult getting an endo for this condition, I know its going to be a hell of a lot difficult to get an endo who actually knows how to treat patients for trt. Thank you ksman in advance.

Google Dr John crisler
