Finally Got a Script for HCG

So, after a grueling and costly search, I’ve finally settled in with a doctor that will take over my try and include HCG in the protocol. I’m currently waiting on the HCG script to arrive.

I’m hoping that the addition of HCG will help with some libido issues and overall mood, sense of well being.

For those that were on TRT without HCG at one time, what benefits did you experience when you added the HCG? Basically, besides normal sized testicles again, what other potential benefits might I have to look forward to?

Thanks!

Improved mood.
Some increased T levels for TRT guys, more so for younger men.
Ask that the hCG be send dry with BA water and a 3ml syringe/need to reconstitute.
Have seen wet hCG damaged by shipping.

So, HCG came in. It’s an 11,000iu vial and a 30ml vial of BA water. I’m extremely confused by the dosage though. My prescription was for 500iu’s per week. (My doctor told me I could break it down into two injections per week)

The directions on the prescription says to inject 2.5ml of BA water to reconstitute and then refrigerate. Inject .5ml weekly.

Why 2.5ml into 11,000iu’s of HCG? Shouldn’t it be 11mls into 11,000iu’s of HCG, making it 1ml = 1,000iu’s which then makes .5ml = 500iu’s???

If I mixed 2.5ml BA water into 11,000iu vial of HCG wouldn’t it give me 4,400ius per ml which would be 2,200iu’s per .5ml injection?

Please help! So confused…

Thanks for the input. So, my math is correct though?

Yes your math is correct. Odd how it was given to you 11000 IU. I usually purchase mine at 5000iu with 1ML BA water. So for me 5iu on insulin needle gives me 250iu HCG [/quote]

Same

I agree 11,000 being an odd number. Even 10,000 would have been easier. I followed the directions for mixing on the Defy Medical’s website.

.25ml’s was not TOO much, but could be less.

I’m worried now though. I called the pharmacy to make sure the 2.5ml wasn’t some sort of misprint because obviously I didn’t want to inject 2,200iu’s weekly and they stated that was the prescription they received and I should call my doctor.

I called the doctor’s office and spoke with his nurse. I told her that the doctor and I had discussed 500iu’s per week or 250iu’s twice per week and explained the medication dosage. She came back to the phone and told me the doctor said to follow the directions as instructed on the bottle as the 2.5ml of water per 11,000iu’s was correct…

I’m waiting on a phone call directly from him now. Hopefully, we can come to an agreement that 2,200iu’s per week is not optimal or…I may be on the hunt for ANOTHER doctor AGAIN…

So, got a call back from the doctor today. Dude was pissed that I mixed the 11,000iu’s with 11ml to inject 500ius per week (split into two doses). He told me that the standard dose while on TRT is 2,200iu’s per week and that I could split this into two different doses.?.?.?

Thoughts? Do you guys know of any doctors that prescribe this amount of HCG in conjunction with TRT??? Keep in mind that this doctor is advertised as a HRT specialist.

He said 2,200iu’s per week is STANDARD and that I need to follow his directions if we are going to be on the same page.

Out of everything I’ve read, I’ve seen 100iu’s daily, 250iu’s EOD and 250iu’s the 2 days before and day right before T injection. I’ve never seen 2,200iu’s per week.

Should I be looking for another doctor again?
