Finally a Woman that has Sense

And by that i mean a woman thats not a feminist. Her name is Debbie Schulsell. She writes great stuff such as this article: Are You This Whipped?: Husbands, Housework & Sex
Girlie-Man Nation: These Look Like “Men’s Beds” to You?

Well, she’s definitely eye-candy. Jury is still out until further research is conducted about her. And that article is old. Didn’t know you were conservative.

Haha I don’t think you know shit about the modern feminist if you think withholding sex is a landmark of one.

The modern feminist is a walking mass of contradictions. They just hate men and are in no related to first wave feminists.

Please enlighten the rest of us.

Though, I wouldn’t choose the word hate. They don’t hate men.

They just pushed a healthy idea (women’s rights) to a ludicrous extreme (we need to all grow dicks and make all men our bitches to be taken seriously). Surprise, surprise - that doesn’t make anybody happy, them included.
But it’s too late to back out without looking like a bunch of… well, pussies.

When you push a good idea that far, make it a dogma, it always leads to contradiction and confusion, along with damnation of the unfaithful. No wonder most modern women avoid the present day feminist movement.

I hate when people say womens rights. It implies that they used to didn’t have any. Prior to 1965, what so-called rights didn’t they have?

I like to think of gender inequality as a premium us guys receive for having to put up with shit all day long.

Some anti-feminism feminists have started to appear.

There’s a book called “The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men”, written by a woman, that seems to contain studies and statistics to prove that modern feminism is going the wrong direction.

I don’t get the housework article.
How is housework sexy? I mean how would someone vacuuming the rug be a turn-on?
Chores are just things that have to be done if you don’t want to live like a pig, I can’t see any correlation between chores and sex.
My ex was a lazy bastard when it came to housework. He worked 3 hours a day less than I did and did nothing unless I asked him to do a specific task. The sex was great, but I don’t miss picking up after him like a 3 year-old.
The current bf cleans everything. He doesn’t start full-time work until mid August and has been great around the house. It’s the weekend and right now I’m doing some laundry and will clean the bathroom. Everything else is pretty much done thanks to his efforts. We get to spend the rest of the day doing fun things. I’m not sure how this is un-masculine. Oh and the sex is awesome.
In a couple you both have to pull your weight. I can see if one person is at home full-time and the other works that a large chunk of the chores fall to the person at home, fair is fair, no?

The sad part of all this is that a lot of women are never happy now.

They dont find effeminate men attractive, but the media and society makes them think they should. This is why cheating is so common nowadays. Girlfriends and wives are hen pecking their men until they no longer find them attractive. Theres no sex and they both look elsewhere.

Its a mess!

You like trolling, and I am busy.
So, look it up.

I agree, although, I think she was talking about certain ladies who label themselves as fems, who DO withhold sex for chores and such. And guys who actually buy into that bs.

But, your man does the same thing I would do and have done. Good to hear of it. Validating, even.

Lol!! Really?

I didn’t even bother reading her article, because the minute I saw this line “If you need to see your husband cleaning your counters in order to remember why you?re married to him, perhaps a divorce is in order.”

Bitch, you wouldn’t even know a divorce from your asshole if it weren’t for feminism. You’d more likely get backhanded in the mouth before you could even fathom leaving your husband.

Anyways, this woman isn’t anti-feminist, she’s just neo-con. She does a show called “Debbie Does Politics” lolololol! OMG. Leave it to a conservative to be a staunch supporter of “traditional beliefs” and then reference porn! Why won’t these people just go away!!! LOL!!

i remember seeing a program where the woman who campainged for women’s vote, equality etc. she was the real OG of women’s movement said women today have effectivly Fucked themselves over.

Its not that feminists have “fucked themselves over,” per se. The complications of feminism is the dichotomy of women wanting their own agency, to obtain power in their own right, to not have males meddling in their decisions, assets, education, etc.; and then simultaneously to want to continue to be viewed as feminine and maternal and be sexually objectified (not saying this as a negative, btw).

Its not a problem as long as individuals can stop thinking so rigidly and see the human animal as an adaptive creature who’s persona is in a constant flux depending on the nature of the situation. We simply cannot place individuals in stringent niches anymore! We’re way past this.

For the vast majority of couples I know both parties work full time outside the home. That being the case, housework is simply another task that needs to get done, and is in no way gender specific. It seems like a pretty stupid, juvenile argument to suggest that picking up your shit is “unmanly”. Expecting your wife to be your mother is not so manly either.

Regarding chores in exchange for sex, I would say that a clean house is more conducive to sex. No one wants to fuck on the kitchen table if it’s covered with dirty dishes. Gritty, rumpled sheets - not so sexy either. If both spouses work all day and the guy comes home, puts up his feet and watches TV while his wife cleans house because that’s “women’s work”, well I think that the likelihood of his getting laid may be fairly low. Of course if only one spouse works, that changes things.

We may have an emerging problem with gender roles in our society, but this is not what it’s about.
