Besides broccoli, what are some other fibrous carbs?
cauliflower, all types of greens, salads, etc, zuchini, asparagus, onion, peppers, green beans, carrots, cucumber, mushrooms, squash…for the most part anything that’s green is typically fibrous…there’s many more but that oughta keep you occupied for a while!
Pretty much anything green and leafy…any veggie…many fruits but not so much a good fiber to carb ratio as veggies…chocolate…and finally whole grains have a good fiber content. The number of carbs per serving goes up as you go down the list.
Miller’s bran, wheat germ, all green veggies, beans.
Spinach, brussel sprouts, lettuce (though it doesn’t have much more than a bit of fiber), most green vegetables.
Don’t forget celery!
And one of my favorites…turnip greens.
Tough old birds like Avoids Roids!
Nah avoids is just Jerked Beef that is not high in fiber. Kidney beans, oatmeal, babies.
Oh and I almost forgot my favorite…Psyllium husks…virtually zero calories and pure fiber. They work as a dieters dream. Throw a tablespoon or 2 into a protein drink and blend it and you’ll have to it with a spoon and it’ll be so thick will fill you up for hours.
