Feeling When You Partially Tear Your Lateral Collateral Ligament?

I was doing hip thrusts with a decent amount of weight on the bar this morning and I felt what I can best describe as a tiny rubber band breaking on the outside of my knee. There wasn’t any pain but it definitely didn’t feel right. Anybody have any experience with an LCL injury?

I haven’t injured the ligament, but we have treated it over the years. Normally will heal on its own without surgery. Generally, it responds well to strengthening of the knee–basics like straight leg raise (4 way). etc. Just google rehab for lcl. Best of luck.
