Fedor - Arlovski October 11

Aww, looks like Fedor is out with a hand injury… Arlovski - Barnett?

I would love to see Babalu wreck Tito.

I’m not sure about the extent of Tito’s popularity these days, but his inclusion could be important in order to draw some fans.

I really hope Affliction becomes a viable business venture so that we can continue to see some legitimate competition for the UFC.

They certainly have the talent, just a matter of people tuning in. Banned was great for being the first show, production was pretty good, and they did decent ticket sales. They sure as hell pay their fighters a lot better than the UFC. That should attract even more guys.

Arlovski - Barnett is now official.

Should be a decent fight. In the end I think Barnett is going to be way 2 much for Arlovski to handle.

It would be cool if they could add Monson to mix. He’s not going to knock anyone out but is a tough durable guy and I love watching him toss people around. He had a tough fight with Barnett, one of my favorite from a grappling perspective. He would give anyone but Barnett and Fedor shit fits.

Does anyone know if Affliction intends to be “closed” like the UFC or more “open” like Elite XC"?

I’m gonna be in Vegas that weekend. I just gotta decide how much to spend on tickets.

The man who lost to THIS guy was going to beat Fedor?

That’s Viacheslav Datsik alright.

The fight definitely looks staged. Nice haircut, though.

arlovski will lose just like sylvia did fast and decisive. there no other way to state it. i like arlovski, but i understand the precision of fedor. and as for him being human, when another human puts forth the effort and studies the sport as he does, then he will unlikely lose to anyone.
