Favorite Song Verse

I just chimed in on favorite movie lines and thought about my favorite song verse. Dave Mattews Band, Crash, “Hike up your skirt a little more and show your would to me”

Is that the infamous Luda?

you dont gotta get all hoe style

“you’re semi-good looking”

I think almost all the lyrics in “You Can Do It” by Ice Cube are hilarious. Most everything by Lucacris is funny as well.

Most of my favorite songs while lifting are heavy metal, so if you can imagine anything with vikings, death, swords and axes, etc. that would be about it.

I actually posted a thread in this forum with a YouTube video in it. It has some kids doing a remake of “My Humps” by Black Eyed Peas. It is fucking hilarious.

“But then what kind of scale compares the weight of two beauties,
the gravity of duties,
or the ground speed of joy?
Tell me what kind of guage can quantify elation,
what kind of equation could I possibly employ?”

Ani Difranco, “School Night”

“Laaaaayyyyla, you got me on my knees, Layla”
-Eric Clapton - Layla (Non-acoustic version, the lyrics are the same, I just like the non-acoustic version better)

“And it’s whispered that soon, if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forest will echo with laughter”
-Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven

So, I typed a text to a girl I used to see
Sayin that I chose this cutie pie with whom I wanna be
And I apologize if this message gets you down
Then I CC’d every girl that I’d see see round town and
I hate to see y’all frown but I’d rather see her smiling
Wetness all around me, true, but I’m no island
Peninsula maybe, makes no sense I know, crazy
Give up all this pussy cat thats in my lap no lookin back
Spaceships dont come equipped with rearview mirrors
They dip as quick as they can…

Happy Boy
By Dane Covover & Jeff Becker

I was walking down the street on a sunny day
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
Fellin’ in my bones that I had my way
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
Well I’m a happy boy, I’m a happy boy
Oh ain’t it good when things are going you way
Hey! Hey!

Well my little dog Spot got hit by a car
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
I put his guts in a bag and stuffed him in a drawer
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
Oh, I’m a happy boy, (yes I am!), I’m a happy boy
Ain’t it good when things are going you way
Hey! Hey!

I forgot all about him for a month and a half
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
I looked in the drawer and started to laugh
Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba
'Cause I’m a happy boy (happy boy!)
Yes, I’m a happy boy (happy boy!)
Ain’t it good when things are going you way
Hey! Hey!

Don’t Marry Her
by Beautiful South & Melady

Think of you with pipe and slippers
Think of her in bed
Laying there just watching telly
Think of me instead

I’ll never grow so old and flabby
That could never be
Don’t marry her, fuck me

And your love life shines like cardboard
But your work shoes are glistening
She’s a PhD in “I told you so”
You’ve a knighthood in “I’m not listening”

She’ll grab your sweaty bollocks
Then slowly raise her knee
Don’t marry her, fuck me

^^^^^^It’s sung from a broad’s perspective.

I never thought I’d die alone
Another 6 months I’ll be unknown
Give all my things to all my friends
You’ll never set foot in my room again
You’ll close it off, board it up
Remember the time that I spilled the cup
Of apple juice in the hall
Please tell mom this is not her fault

I never conquered rarely came
16 just held such better days
Days when I still felt alive
We couldn’t wait to get outside
The world is wide
Too late to try
The tour is over
We survived
And I can’t wait til I get home
To pass the time in my room alone…

“Adam’s Song,” by Blink-182. Listen to it, thank me later…

The bitch is hungry
She needs to tell
So give her inches
And feed her well

Classic 80s hair metal lyrics by Scorpions, Rock You Like a Hurricaine

“I don’t care what consequence it brings
I have been a fool for lesser things.”

Yeah, it’s Billy Joel

I’ve got my finger on the trigger.
Sometimes faith just ain’t enough.

I look inside my heart,
and there’s just devils and dust.

 • Bruce Springsteen, “Devils and Dust”.

Sometimes you just feel tired, feel weak
When you feel weak, you feel like you just wanna just give up
But you gotta search within you, try and find that inner strength
And just pull that shit out of you, and get that motivation not to give up
And not be a quitter no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face.

Eminem, “'Till I Collapse”

Jesus you like The Beautiful South? They begun their days together on a street just round the corner from me.

Ha! I guess they’v been around the block and beyond. I got turned on to them about a year ago or so. Growing up in Austin, Tx I’ve always had a thing for bands that will probably never be seen on the “top 40” list.

"Mom and Dad this is Chasey
Chasey this is my Mom and Dad
Now show em them titties
Now show em them titties

Would you fuck me for blow?"

Ballad of Chasey Lain

I can take all the madness the world has to give, but I won’t last the day without you.
