Favorite Movie?

My favorite movie would probably have to be “Pleasantville.” Don’t know why, I just like it. Not far behind are:

Field Of Dreams
Rushmore
National Lampoons Vacation
Baseketball

and the list goes on…

Clerks kicks ass. The part where he is on the phone naming off the porno flicks is classic.

The Right Stuff is my all time Fav.

If you haven’t seen it yet, please do.

Hell I even made a poster which now hangs in my office of O’l Chuck walking away from his wrecked plane with the question:

WWCYD?

(What Would Chuck Yeager Do?)

You guys have listed some great movies…

SCAR FACE, Pulp fiction, goodfellas, Training day, The program…just a few

Friday
Preditor
Usual Suspects
Beverley Hills Cop (1 only)
Ferris
Revenge of the Nerds (1 only)

I see bad movies all the time. I have a long list because it is like trying to pick a favorite song–there are just too many good ones to pick from.

But that is not to say that there aren’t any bad movies out there…cause there are tons.

Swingers
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Magnolia
Black Hawk Down
Lost in Translation
The Matrix
Gladiator
The Pianist
Office Space
21 Grams
Empire of the Sun

Boondock Saints by far

Boondock Saints is the coolest film ever …

Wicked open soundtrack too!!!

Can’t wait for the next one …

Oh - yeh best movie …

‘When we were Kings’

[Every time I watch it the hairs still stand on ht beck of my neck …]

Fnord11- my favorite Kevin smith is Mallrats, but I think I am biased because I saw that one like 8 times before I saw any of the other ones. But in order it would be

Mallrats
Dogma
Chasing Amy
Clerks
Jay & Silent Bob

And one other movie I forgot to mention is The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Humans. Carmen Electra is in it for one thing… and well… DAMMIT WHAT MORE DOES A MOVIE NEED???

Dirty Harry (the original)
The Shawshank Redemption
Alien and Alien 2
Goodfellas
A Clockwork Orange
Saving Private Ryan
Full Metal Jacket
Platoon
High Plains Drifter
There’s Something About Mary

Oh, and two very old classics
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Bad Seed

Man, i can’t believe nobody mentioned Die Hard.

Also:
Deer Hunter
Fight Club
Resevior Dogs
Undercover Brother

And I think every classic “guy movie” has been mentioned.

Oh yeah, I also really like Toy Story.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest

A Time To Kill

Blade

Anything with Jet Li

Lord of the Rings - all

Of Mice and Men

Silver Bullet

No Holds Barred

Swordfish, I thought was an excellent movie, it had some great twists in it. Also, I like The 6th Day, with Arnold. I love cloning and the twist in the movie was awesome!

Gotta love Pumping Iron right before you go work out. I heard someone say it, THE PROGRAM!! Lattimer!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! From scrub to STARTING D!!! [insert sound of a forehead smashing through a windshield]…haha…

Shrek was great.

I don’t see how any of you liked Kill Bill… It was a la Stephen King… If you like movies where every 2 seconds someone has to get his head cut off or lose a limb, I guess you would kind of like it…
American Wedding was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen!

Life Is Beautiful. Such a great film.

Desperado

Three fabulous movies, that are difficult to beat are:

  1. Storm of the century
  2. House of sand and fog
  3. Amistaad

Watch them if you havent!
