Dear Mr. ConservativeDog,

I have a question if I may. Prior to your employment as a cumberbund-wearing intelligence operative, how did you score on your mandatory psychological assessment?

Are we still convinced he has a good job? My money is on him being a street cop that deals with a high proportion of black people throughout the day. Only relation to james bond and his job is carrying a gun.
I think SM’s post was at least a little bit tongue in cheek.

But your theory is pretty solid.

Speaking of Bond–because changing the subject of this thread is probably for the best–anyone see Skyfall? I’ve heard it’s actually really good. Glad to hear it after the disaster that was the last one. I’m a big fan of Craig’s.
smh:

My understanding is that much like in the later “Batman” series…in “SkyFall”; Bond is much closer to the character Ian Fleming portrayed in the original novels. In other words, Bond is more of a dark, brooding, somewhat unstable assassin.

I’m looking forward to seeing it too. (Along with “Flight”).

Skyfall rocked. Recommend.

I hope he doesn’t prove me wrong, but I don’t get the feeling that this guy is all the bad things some of you guys seem to think he is. I think some of the maybe be less than elegant ways he’s expressed a few things has brought some attitude his way that he’s now doin stuff like this to combat. Has he advanced a position that is racist or idiotic? I’m asking. I don’t know. I haven’t seen it, but he seems to be getting ganged up on. I don’t usually like that happening to anybody. Even when they DO deserve it. Maybe he’s padding his prestige a bit. So what?
That’s my honest view and I’d say the same for any leftist roamin around here too.

I’m not racist, so here’s a list of black people I like.

By the way, just so you all know, I’m totally not racist.
100% of people who’ve had to say they aren’t racist are completely racist imo. I see it all the time where I’m from which is 99.8% conservative whites. Most of them are pretty cool, but we have quite a bit who “aren’t racist.” They have the confederate flag because they appreciate the history of the South. They totally are against Obama because of his policies even though most of them are on some type of government assistance. They think we lose high school basketball games sometime because we didn’t have enough of the right colored players. They are totally against government assistance for “welfare queens” despite being on food stamps themselves cause they just fell on some hard times.

They aren’t racist though, they just really like to discuss why black people are this one type of way that tends to anger them.

Not racist though. Seriously, they’ve told me.

Yes it is a great movie.

SMH 23 which grad school did you go to for your masters of journalism?
I went to Columbia for grad school, seemed like a fantastic idea at the time but the grace period on my loans ends in two days so…haha.

And I’m so pumped that Skyfall was good. I loved Casino Royale and hated Quantum, so it’s good to hear that it was the latter that was the outlier.

Mufasa: flight also looks great, and Lincoln next week. I’m not that into Spielberg, but Day-Lewis is the best actor-cobbler in the business.

I thought he was trolling. What are we supposed to do in this thread anyway? List our favourite black people in order of preference? Okay, I’ll play along.

 1. Pastor Manning

 2. Garry Coleman

 3. The guy who says “dyno-MITE!!!”(can’t think of his name)

 4. Robert Mugabe

America’s First and Second Black President’s would probably be on a lot of American’s list!

Anthony Jackson
Esperanza Spalding
Meshell Ndegeocello
Stanley Clarke

they may have something in common, but i can’t remember what.

(And just for Orion’s edification : Jaimee Foxworth)

Definitely seeing both of those. I kind of want to see cloud atlas too but the reviews are mixed from horrible to greatest movie ever. My wife and I are mostly opposites for movies so I have a feeling at least one of us would fall in the horrible movie category.

Sir, do you like these people because they conform to what you think a black person should be?

Secondly, since you are an admitted public servant possibly FBI do you think its appropriate your are posting memes that are prejudicial and discriminatory against people? Do you think it is a good career move to post a picture of a fetus post abortion? You are a public servant and you have chose this and since your earn a living from tax payer money you should err on the side of caution with your anti-Obama, anti-liberal, anti-tertiary school, anti-socialism, and anti-anything politically correct rhetoric. I am certain you have an obsession with African Americans but show no crime rates regarding Latino or Caucasian Americans.

If you spent your career trying to protect people you have my respect but where you lose my respect is your insistence on tearing another group down.

Some really good points in here.

In Japan?

You had to go out of your way to have black friends.

Thats racist.

Proof that I’m not racist: I listen to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Abbey Lincoln, Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong.
