Favorite Beer

Sierra Nevada Porter (each sip is better than the last)

I tried the porter last night for the first time, and it was delicious. I’m a big fan of their beers.

Bass
Shiner Bach

I just bought 12-packs of the following last Friday:

Sam Adams Boston Lager (it’s not quite Boston Ale season yet)
Gaffel Kolsch (just a great, drinkable beer)
Pilsener Urquell (what
Franziskaner Hefe Weisen (very refreshing after fall yard work)
Amstel Light (can’t forget the ladies)

I was eyeing a couple of Oktoberfest beers but decided against it since that period is past. Also toyed with getting the Saranac sampler but I don’t like stout and there are a couple of those in there.

I really thought about getting some others as well, but realized I was getting a mixed case of wine too and I was going to run out of room in the cart. Got some really good wines too, but I don’t want to hijack.

Hell yeah they can. It is priced pretty decently, also.

Don’t forget that Christmas beers are going to be coming out soon.

Fuller’s London Porter is for you then, good sir.

Guiness
Sam Adams
Anchor Steam (especially the Porter)
Sierra Pale Ale
Boddintons
Murphy’s Irish Stout
Chimay
Fat Tire
Usually anything cold and not Bud or Coors…

Schlitz. “When you’re outta Schlitz, you’re outta beer!”

I’m not a big fan of Christmas brews. Chocolates and spices don’t work for me in my beer.

I drank a bunch of schlitz over the summer. It’s so cheap, and it usually got a laugh out of people, as most of my friends haven’t really heard of it. They tend towards the more famous cheap beers, which is a mistake, in my opinion.

props to who knows this fine beer

The Pringle’s guy makes beer too?

And I never knew Dundalk was the “Land of Pleasant Living”. It’s more like The Land Of Missing Teeth.

St. Andrew’s Ale…drank this on a chilly day on the roof of a restaurant on Ocrakcoke Island as the sun was setting…I am so damn cool.

Post Road Pumpkin Ale, brewed by the Brooklyn Brewery, was good last night sitting in front of the campfire whilst the trick or treaters were ambling by

…not a fan of the Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale…tastes too processed…like someone added water to a pumpkin ale flavor packet.

Harpoon “UFO” (replaced Blue Moon, after I found out BM was a Coors product)
Ommegang “Three Philosophers”
Young’s “Double Chocolate Stout”
Victory “Golden Monkey”
Wolaver’s “Brown Ale”

I’ve heard good things about Golden Monkey. I will give that one a try. One of my neighbors swears by Ommegang - might have to try that too.
