Wanted to post a very interesting article that I read on Wired.com this morning. It truly shows the importance of the people that surround you, both friends and family, and their impact on weight and obesity (with data to prove it).
One of the foundations of nutrition, as stated in the V-Diet, is the importance of surrounding yourself with supporters and positive role models. This article/study underscores this theory many times over, and might push some people to realize that helping people around them live healthy lifestyles, in addition to surrounding themselves with healthy people, can only help with personal nutrition goals.
The diagrams at the bottom are fascinating, and clearly show that those who were surrounded by obese friends/parents ballooned in size, while those who were surrounded with nutritionally sound people stuck with their roots.
