Fat Loss or Strength Gain Program?

Hey,

I am currently 17 years old 207 pounds, and 6ft tall

I am not sure whether i should do a fat loss program, or if i should just do a strength one

I just got out of a football season so im getting back into working out.

My main question is, would you say i am more suited to go on a fat loss program because of my weight

or to go on a strength program.

thanks in advanced…

I always say strength/size first, but I’m not you. Are you going for looks or performance?

Depending on where you live, winter is around the corner. I don’t suspect that you’ll be on the beach.

My thought is train and train hard all winter. If you need to lose some fat by the time March-April rolls around, keep your diet in check.

Actually strength and speed/foot work would be best.

I’m about your height dude, and I’d really like to be 210lbs and just strong.

Guys our height can wear that weight well and still be strong.

I say just get on a good clean diet (i personally like carb cycling) and get on a strength program.

help us out by giving us your goals?

Yep. x2.

Eat clean. Lift hard. You can lose fat and increase strength fairy easily at this point. Take advantage of it.
