Well, generally, fats temper the glycemic index of a food. However, when ingested with a significant amount of carbs (as in a post workout shake), you might actually drive fat directly into storage.
In short, post workout, not the best idea to add fats.
Even though you want a big insulin rush post-workout, you’d prefer the drink to consist of high amounts of protein and high amounts of sugar (and little fat) to drive aminos into the muscle cells.
