Dianne- Bonjour! and thanks. I’ve been so busy between work, having some summer fun and my photography project that I haven’t seen Kacey since June. The gym has been my only ME time which was much needed. The photography project is due for this weekend. After that, my part is done, which means I’ll have more free time on my hands. I’m planning to hit her gym in October.

I trained lower body last night and had the worst damn sleep; if you could even call it sleep. If I can train legs at 5pm or so I’m good. If I train at 7pm I’m screwed. Upper body is less of a problem.
Must be all the adrenalinz and testosteronicals.

Git - I’ll add that the pre-workouts I use probably don’t help either… Did manage to sleep after taking my magic recipe though.
MT - Basically a Mantra that plays in my head whenever the weight is a challenge… “Light bar, this is light, I bench more than half this weight…”. When I grab my weight belt I often psych myself by thinking “this is my war, my fight” and I greet the bar; “Hi Bitch, today we dance”. A lot of crap motivational lingo that along with the music helps me reach the proper headspace. Bar hasn’t spoken back yet. Does anyone ever imagine the bar talking?
Masch- thank you Darlin. My focus has been very narrow this past year. I’m happy the choice paid off.
Greg - totally agree on the ink but I want my piece finished first which is due next week. Once that’s done I am so planning a little pic session.
Snap - Won’t be able to make it this year. I was trying to come up for a few days and my brother reminded me it was my niece’s b-day saturday and I had already volunteered to help them out. There will other opportunities, I’m sure. Say hi to Julie for me!
