Farmers + Airdyne Superset Finisher


Hi Coach,

You’ve written on several articles that you give preference to farmers walks and airdyne HIIT for finishers. What do you think about supersetting farmers walks with airdyne HIIT. For instance, a medium weight farmers walk for 60 - 90 seconds followed by an all-out airdyne spin for 15 - 30 seconds for a few sets. Would this be ideal for conditioning and to shed some excess fat? or is it overkill? Thanks Coach



For that kind of complex I would stick to shorter distances with more weight on the farmer’s walk… 40-60m
