Exuberant Animal - Views on the Arnold

As any other, the writer has a right to express his opinion. Is pro bodybuilding healthy? No, it’s not. Is putting foreign materials into one’s body (IE silicone) normal? NO, it’s not. Is judging someone who makes his own personal choices (provided that they don’t affect others) right? Of course it is not.

But can any one of us claim that he/she doesn’t have any vices, at all? All of us do something that is bad for us, one way or another.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Good question.

I just want everyone to know, my breasts are natural. But, I don’t judge those that get implants…wait, what?

Really, what?s all the fuss?

Frank is a good author who spearheads his own tribe of exercise fanatics. His prose is meant for his own audience and they will eat that shit up. They hyperbole and selective attention Frank stirs into his descriptive brew will slake his readers? thirst for reinforcement that playing barefoot games of tag and other naturalistic forms of play make them better human beings.

Getting caught up and reacting to his words would be like - - like - - like getting pissed off at the thoughts in one of TC?s Atomic Dog columns.

Relax, enjoy, it may not be your destination, but it could be an enjoyable ride through someone else?s wilderness.

you have no basis to make that claim. Surgeons put foreign materials into our body all the time. Some materials, like gold, are safer than others because they are very inert and unreactive. the question is what is the foreign material in question.

But the silicone implants have proven to be safe, and the lie that they were unhealthy was pretty much proven to be a lie when the FDA first banned it for elective use but not for women who had masectomies: it proved it was about morality not safety. After all if it were safety then women who had masectomies and just got over cancer would have been the ones banned because they would be most at risk. Instead we put a higher risk populace and gave them only two choices: no breasts or what the FDA says is dangerous. Well that’s kinda nuts, and it’s why they are legal now, because they were never dangerous to begin with.

Oh and of course there have been problems, just like anything else. There’s always a percent where things go wrong.
