TSH offers little insight into the thyroid hormones, TSH can be normal while thyroid hormones are far from it. Free T3, Reverse T3, Free T4 and antibodies tell the full story. Often when there is a thyroid problem TSH will fluctuate wildly between tests, remember it’s only a snapshot in time of a moving target.
