I have yet to attempt something like this and was just curious in general mostly. I understand carb cycling and how fourth third day should be a “high day” of higher carbs and calories so you trick your metabolism from going into starvation mode.
My question is, how low can you go on low days? Hypothetically, and for sake of understanding, could you technically fast for 3 days and then have a maintenance day and would this have the same effect of “tricking” your metabolism as long as you keep throwing in a high day?? This is an extreme example, just wondering how it works if your low days dip below your minimum calorie recommendation if you are on a stimulant to make up for the energy loss. Considering ways for a fast weight drop for an event.
