CT: I’ve noticed my ER have gotten tight to where I’m unable to bench press or front squat with my shoulder blades pulled down & back. My question to you is would you recommend not doing any exercises that are compromised by this until I fix my mobility issue (I’m not planning on benching with regular bar or set up)? I will definitely be working on this hard core with Kelly Starrett’s mobility advice, overhead holds, I noticed snatch grip behind the neck push presses & push presses with the DS bar in a supinated hang position are helping. If you have any other advice I wouldn’t definitely apply it immediately. I know you will be honest & whatever you tell me will work. I appreciate your time, expertise, & all the help you have been to me the past few years. Thank you!
