So, a while back I had bought amino acid pills. In fact judging by the expiration dates on the bottles, about 3 years ago. I guess I had forgotten about them until recently. I was cleaning out my cabinets and I came across them. They are the hard tablet type and the bottles have been opened. I was wondering if anybody would know if they are alright to still take. I hate wasting things so if they would be ok to take Id still take them. If not I dont mind throwing them out. Thanks in advance.
I doubt you would get sick from them. If anything, they may just have lost some potency. I would still take them.

I’d agree with Tyler, seems like you’d have nothing to lose…I’ve stumbled across supplements that I forgot I had in my closet or in drawers after a move, and used them with no ill effects more than a year after expiration
