Exercises You've Never Tried

Got a question on the Rack Lockout exercise.

The pictures look identical. How far should the bar move to lockout? It looks like only a few inches. In the picture anyway, the text reads that it should be 1/3 or 1/4 of a normal, close grip bench movement. Anyone already incorporate these into their routine and have advice to offer?

you can vary the ROM but the idea is to focus on the triceps and improve lockout stregth. Also the static start adds another dimension to the lift by eliminating the stretch reflex.
