I’ve been using your three day program you wrote in the article “a letter to the young wendler” that you wrote for t-nation a few years ago. I’m beginning my 2nd cycle but I have a Question. On Monday and Friday you have programmed to use a 4 way neck machine. I don’t have anything like that in my gym so on Monday I do face pulls 3x10 and Friday I do barbell shrugs for 3 sets of 10 instead Would this work against the program to substitute those exercises?
If you don’t have a 4 Way Neck Machine - use neck flexion (see a video I did on this) and neck extension (neck harness).
I do neck extension work with the safety squat bar. Just putting another option out there in case there’s no neck harness available to you.
