Excessive Antioxidants Bad?

I take 800 mg daily of green tea extract. In one of the featured articles it was casually dropped that consuming too many antioxidants can interfere with muscle building. What is the reason for this? How much is too much?
I ran a search for this topic several different ways and couldn’t find anything. Sorry if it’s been discussed before.

Well I do beleive Dave Barr wrote about it but in short to much of some anti ox’s can actaully have pro oxidation LOL effects.

I thinks its also a cortisol thing many ppl see it as the DEVIL no and try and beat it down to no end, Much like estrogen, and well cortisol is needed as is some inflamation it causes the body to repair grow etc.

Thats my limited take on it,
