Estrogen, Serotonin, Libido

I know that most feel good while e2 is in that sweet spot we talk about. The reason given is that e2 competes with androgen receptors, etc., and it being in that sweet spot seems optimal for libido, etc.

But from what I understand, estrogen increases serotonin activity. So wouldn’t this alone be a reason that libido suffers with higher estrogen? (serotonin lowers dopamine, which affects libido)

Finding a golden simplification is probably not going to be possible or beneficial. Things are to complex and fuzzy.
