You are obviously someone who appreciates having quality machines to train on. But it seems that even you don’t always have access to all the machines that you would like, and hence have to use free weights or other alternatives, like Bowflex. I wonder if there are any tweaks, tricks, or adjustments that you personally employ when using less than ideal equipment?
Have you seen the ads for the Tonal strength training machine? It uses motor driven electromagnetic resistance, is relatively affordable ($3000), and seems to have a more sophisticated resistance control scheme than the motor driven machines you may have used in the past. Any thought of getting one to try for use in your own home?
