I’ve read several articles about how alcohols can dramatically reduce protein synthesis for days after consumption and it got me thinking about its affects on the bodies insulin sensitivity and it’s relationships to leanness. Anyone done any research or good readings on this topic?
Well we know that ethanol quickly shifts the body into detox/processing mode. And protein synthesis/fat burning always take a back seat to that.
We also know that its the (poor) food choices alongside the ethanol that lead to increased fatness, much moreso than the alcohol itself.
