Hi everyone hope I can get some good feedback here. I have an ‘ectomorph’ body type, so unlike the majority on here, I am not trying to lose body fat, more trying to build mass and keep it. Ok so I have really low appetite, so How can I keep the mass I have built? Do I drink alot of protein shakes w/milk (since it has alot of prt/cal).
What do you guys suggest?
The shakes probably aren’t helping your appetite, and if it comes down to food or shake, its Real Food er’y time.
I would say shoot for 4 meals of 1000+ calories, and sip on a couple shakes, 1 post workout, 1 in between meals.
If the shakes are blunting appetite, they go.
Deadlift heavy. Always puts my appetite through the roof.
If I eat a just carb snack, like a handful of raisins, look the fawk out. Like trying to fill the pit from 300
Try drinking a small glass of OJ, for the ecto, a little dip in Blood Sugar should stimulate your appetite.
Avoid coffee, stimulants, and alcohol.
Eat until you feel ill, then try to take in 500 more calories. j/k, sort of.
