Eating Right

I know I am supposed to eat several meals a day but I don’t have time to cook or prepare them. Is it feasible to prepare one large meal, then divide it into meal size containers and freeze them? If so, anybody have any simple recipes?

I do this all the time. I will cook a whole package of chicken breasts or a large steak and then divide it. I add some steamed or frozen veggies and its a meal. If you’re in need of more carbs, add some brown rice.

Aboslutely. Making a bunch of food all in one shot, and pre-packaging it, is a great time-saver. Pretty much anything goes.

Whenever we’re having chicken or steak for dinner, I’ll throw on an extra 2 or 3 pieces to have for lunch over the next few days. I’ll also try to hard boil a dozen or so eggs twice a week, just to keep in the fridge. There’s not really any rules. I’ve said before “leftovers are where it’s at.”
