Eating Abroad (Japan)

Hey guys. Soon I will be traveling to the Land of the Rising Sun to continue my studies. I’ve had great success with lower carbohydrate diets that minimize refined grains. I’ve heard that fruits and vegetables are hard to (cheaply) come by in Japan, and that concerns me some.

For those of you living in Japan, what adjustments have you made to your diet simply out of necessity? I follow a slightly higher carb version of the T-Dawg diet pretty much year round, which means I rarely ever eat rice/breads/potatoes etc. In addition, I know the “gym” culture isn’t nearly as prevalent as it is here. What sort of facilities are available for training? Thanks for the help guys!

man am i bummed.
when i saw the thread title,i thought this post was going to be about oral sex with a japanese chick.
