hello,
I buy whole salmon fillets w/skin.
Should I eat the skin?
Are there Omega 3’s in it?

I read a while ago that if you save up the skins and then eat half a dozen or so at once it gives you a wicked head rush, followed by massive muscle gains.
Any truth to that?

I just made an awesome Dill Sauce Salmon dinner for my bride last night. Smacking my lips in remembrance!
I eat the skin…my wife doesn’t care for it unless it’s grilled. I don’t know if there’s any added benefit, but I know it won’t hurt you to eat it.
Hell, I eat everything!..even the bones if their soft enough.
I find the skin is the oiliest part so common sense should have it that the Omega is IN the skin…??

…in remembrance of her or the sauce? : )
salmon skin…put in a frying pan. fry it up with some cayenne pepper, and a little garlic salt. it shouldn’t take long to become like a crispy chip. put it on a papertowel laden plate. serve with wasabi mixed in mayonnaise or just wasabi paste. mmm mmm good. It’s a local favorite.
