Hormones are produced at all times, not ONLY at night. In my early 20s’ i wasn’t sleeping worth crap and was still horny. Everyone’s different. Sleep is something medicine hardly understands. Even doctors at sleep clinics will tell you this.

Based on experience I’d say food is more important. I’ve had decent sessions on little sleep, rarely do I have decent ones when I’ve been eating like shit.
