Would it be possible to lose fat and perhaps gain muscle while eating below maintenance? I’m not talking long term, I’m talking in the early stages of the diet. Perhaps the switch from a hypercaloric diet consisting of a higher ratio of carbs to fat, to a hypocaloric diet consisting of a higher fat ratio (T-Dawg 2.0) will turn on the anabolic switch, especially if I’ve never dieted with such a high fat ratio.
Once again, I’m talking about the early stages of the diet, not throughout the entire cutting cycle.
Any thoughts?
