Early Morning Training.

I just got a back from the track and I set a new PR in the 100 meters. Felt good. My Question: Is there any reason why I shouldn’t get up at 6am to train? Obviously I am going to adapt to be able to wake up at 6am and still get enough sleep. Any science behind this?

Just make sure you eat at least SOMETHING before you exercise. Doesnt have to be much.

When I do morning exercise I usually drink some milk before hand. Then breakfast comes about 30 minutes later after I exercise.

Should have mentioned that. I made sure I had something to eat before.

There’s nothing wrong with waking up early as long as you have good sleeping habits. Getting enough sleep, not what time you sleep or wake up, is essential for training. You’ll just have to sleep earlier, though.
