Keep pushing yourself. Saw guys about my age in gym this am who looked, and lifted, like walking death.

Need to figure out what’s next. My right knee is an issue. I had a steroid shot last August, that seems to have worn off. I’ll get another one in the spring so I feel good for the summer and hopefully the fall.

Not much to offer. In my youth my pressing was well below what your putting up.
I just try to train consistently, with exercises I know how to do. Avoid to many heavy attempts for my strength level.
Not sure what others think but for me the hardest part is learning what I can recover from and keep training, not what I can actually do in a particular session. Some days I’m lifting feeling good , a song I like comes on at just the right time . I put too much weight on the bar or worse squeeze out some extra reps. It just takes too long to recover. I’m trying to learn to leave those days behind… in the end we are who we are.
Consistent training, a couple of exercises for a few working sets. Eat well , sleep and enjoy life. It’s all way to short.

No thanks needed… older and experienced guys are in short supply around in these parts. Im am already been in that stage were I need to me mindful on how I approach things . So seeing how someone else approaches it that has several more years on me whom is still moving reasonable weight is a find.
