Did this yesterday, might DL today instead of tomorrow due to work.
Mixing up th BP supplement lift, lockouts, floor press and either DBBP or more barbell down sets.
Going to work towards hitting 315 again this winter. I was never a great at presses in my youth. Just trying to hold on to what I’ve got.

I’m thinking of switching up main movements

What are thinking of switching to?

Making BTN my main pressing movement on Press day and adding either incline press or just my log press as the second exercise. Close grip bench might be another option.
When the weather get warmer I do my press outside in my backyard , along with some strongman stuff.
I’ve been doing my BTN with a fat bar and I really have no elbow or wrist pains at all.
I think I’ll go another’ 1-2 times like this then switch.
I’m thinking BTN 5’s progressions and incline BP for 5x10 to get a little volume and then switch to 10,8,6 like a simple strength template. Then re-evaluate in May or June
Any thoughts on incline bench ?
My bench has 4 setting. Flat , 90 and 2 in between. I usually use the lower about 45 degrees.
I’ve used my bench grip and closer grip ( in line with arm pits). Inside the bar knurling hurts my wrists, and I’m too old for that nonsense.
Appreciate your thoughts on incline BP.

How far down do you take the bar on BTN? My shoulders are okay so long as I keep the depth at the bottom of the back of my skull. Lower than that gets dicey.

Below the base of my skull. Mid upper neck. I widen my grip. Index fingers on rings or just outside. I don’t touch my traps or upper back. Not even close.
I keep the weights very doable.

Im a big fan of the incline press and think its undervalued in helping developing a big bench.

I agree. Though when I’ve done it, I would substitute it for bench.

Any recommendations? I like historical fiction, crime drama, action shows. Not a huge fan of sci-fi ( unless it’s real good) or dark side shows.

Amazon Prime. May need Amazon Firestick for it. With that subscription one also gets Amazon free shipping. Check their subofferings Acorn and Britbox. Crime galore. Just finished an Irish one “Singlehanded”; desolate scenery, great storylines.

Presently watching Australian series “The Heart Guy”, a dramedy.

I’ve got Amazon.
I’ll check those out. Jack Ryan was great on Amazon.
