Feeling my way back with the bar.
I tried a little leg drive on the bench , could not feel the connection on the new hip side.
Going to start back with a barbell, just sets of 10 very little weights till I figure it out.
90 days post op and ready to start seeing where things go.

Trying to decide if I want to do full body workouts or go to a split.
I want to maximize my time outside walking still.

BP was easy, almost too easy, no leg drive from my new hip, slow and steady. Going to go with lay pulldowns for a little while, then pull-ups again.
Starting slow.

Supersets of back and legs. Felt great.
Lots of room to switch around the DL variations and up the reps or add weights for the BE.
Finally trying to let go of squats

Squats are totally off the table? There are no variations that would work?

For now.
Maybe Zerchers in the future.
I’d probably try SSBGM if I were to put a bar on my back.
I’m intimidated by the axial load to my hip replacement

BP was easy felt good, still no connection for leg drive in total hip replacement side.

Probably 10 years or so.
My oldest went to Emory. It was great to visit Atlanta.
Seems like a long time ago. Random thoughts, as we were just discussing travel restrictions at my office.

Big names are usually most impressive to those who attended their big name school.
