60 yo. Training for strength and health and personnel enjoyment. 531 style training (351) on the weeks. Train every other day. Squat,BP, DL, Press. Simple accessory and supplemental lifts.
Healthy except for a little bit of right knee issues. 6’, 235 right now.
Train at home, really enjoy my basement gym. Training since 1974, free weights, universal gym, nautilus equipment etc… Now back to the basics. Barbells, DBs and some simple machines. Lifting makes me feel good, try not to go past what I can recover from. No new injuries is important.

What do you use for zercher? Bars in the elbows or do you have a harness?

Welcome btw

2 inch thick barbell. Elbows, no harness. The thick bar makes it way less painful.

I’ve always done it like that but as I get older, my elbows hate it and I’m considering a harness.

The harness looks pretty good, if it fits right and doesn’t slide around.
I’ve been lucky with my elbows so far.

Welcome. You’ve posted some good lifting.

BP day
45x10
95x5
135x5
185x5
215x5
225x5
Pull ups x5 between each set
Leg press 5x15,DBBP 5x10, fat bar curls 5x8, lat Pulldown 5x10
Done as a circuit.
Nothing too taxing. Recovery is king. Sold a cambered bench bar. Barely used it over the last 5 years. Seemed like a good idea at the time. It was ok for rows.

I am glad you started a log but a little confused as to why you start a new thread every time you log a workout.

I think , I need a tutorial on logging.

If you click on Over 35 Lifter you can scroll down and find your log. Then just use the reply button to to keep adding to your log.

Thank you.
Much appreciated.

No prob. I threw all the threads together here, so they should be a bit more organized.

Like Lil Chik’n said, just click reply either in one of your posts here or at the very bottom of the page. That’ll bring up the text box to post in this thread.
