Dynamic Rowing

I am going to start the 5x5 next week and i am not sure i know what a dynamic row is.

Is this a bent over row, or is it like a dead lift/row from the floor?

each rep the bar should start from a dead stop on the floor. Keep your upper body as close to parallel with the ground as well, arch back, bend knees and accelerate the bar into your sternum

If I might interject from a diferent point of view, and back exercises. I rowed my own boat from the 8th grade and did so until about 7 years ago. I’m 64.

One night while working a night car I went into a restraunt to answer a call. As I walked past a table, the very olde retired marshall quietly said “That’s Philipj”. His wife asked “how do you know if that is him”? I smiled when I heard him whisper "there is only one back like that in the entire county!

Keep up the rowing. It is good for you, you may not be able to see it happening, but others will.
