So I’m not a pro or anything, but I love to play. I’m in a rec-league and of course I want to do well. Games are only on sundays, and I don’t play between games. Maybe just shooting and dribbling to practice. I’m a 5’8’’ guard. I was wondering if I should stay in my “off-season” training regime and continue to keep on getting stronger, or should I go into an “in-season” lifting program since I don’t want the fatigue from lifting to mask some of the athleticism I have. And if I do an in-season regime, what would be a good one just to maintain as much strength as I can?
Just in case you were wondering…here are my stats.
Deadlift: 315(I have really weak grip)
I had ACL reconstruction about a year ago, which is why my stats are pretty low since I pretty much had to start all over. Thank you for all of the advise.
