Hey coach i read Poliquin's article he wrote here: http://www.T-Nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/question_of_strength_february and he says they are a bad exercise. what is your thought on that? is it really bad or not?
They are awkward for me. They lend themselves to too much extra movement.
If ilike db front swings as a replacement if you want a similar exercise.
Literally, Charles just seems like he feels like putting out opinions to his already converted followers.
If you use 100's, they are super awkward, I would not recommend using 2 dumbbells unless your a baller. I see little point in using anything lighter than heavy, since I treat it as if it was an olympic lift
They don't seem bad, just awkward. I do swings most of the time and one arm db snatches occasionally.
