Just started doing dbell bench pressing instead of straight bar. Anyone got a workout plan for something like this. Been doing 6x6 at 90 pounds.
How long ago was your surgery? And what, specifically, was repaired?
I had my shoulder surgically repaired in 2010. DB work is great because it forces the weaker shoulder to stabilize on its own. But I still flat bench with a straight bar and have no problems with that movement. Now overhead pressing is a different story.
As far as programming, I suppose you could do 531 with DBs instead of barbell pressing.
