Dropping My Dose was an Epic Failure

Dr Keith Nichols has told me he didnt see a patient that sub q really doesnt work for but hey, everyone is different

For me seems sub q works awesome. So I have no real motivation to try the more complicated IM injection

But seems you better try. Have you considered scrotal cream? Maybe in your particular case DHT will do good. Ive heard people aromatise less on the cream

Testosterone gives you desire and libido. your erection‘s not sticking is not due to testosterone IMO.

You are focused on “does it work or it doesn’t work” as your guide to whether prolactin has lowered.

I I would take Danny’s suggestion and use labs as my guide. I would not use libido as my guide. This supplement should lower prolactin.

Also you aren’t sure you have a tumor right? So until you are sure I wouldn’t be worried about it.

It very well could be mind to body connection.

I know this isn’t easy. I went through lack of Erections and quality for years when I was in my 20s. Everyone wanted to give me viagra and one doctor gave me T.

This didn’t fix anything for me. I took a Chinese doctors option (from his blog). I stopped porn and any form of sexual function. 2-3 months is how long. At the end of this everything returned to normal.

He spoke of neuroplasticity and Re wiring of the brain. Letting the body heal.

Test will give any man desire to have sex. What it won’t do is give you rock hard erections.

You have These issues yet you continue trying to have sex. Imagine if you were a professional athlete . You could not perform optimally and you tell your coach that you cannot. Next you tell him “I tried again yesterday and I was at 50% in the performance category”. What do you think he would say?

It’s obvious. You need more rest. Stop making things worse.

The function of an erection is effected heavily by the mind. Then you also have chemicals and a physical function that needs to be healthy. You sound like you can get it up. You just cannot keep it up.

If I were you I would stop right now and just rest. You will be totally ok without sex for a little bit of time.

Your body is yelling at you.

I inject IM in the delts using daily injections but you can inject up to a ML at a time.

Sub-q wasn’t horrible but IM is leaps and bounds better. I just feel more like I’m on Test whereas sub-q didn’t give me that feeling.

It’s literally the same thing. Stick needle in & push plunger

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to help.

Definitely have a tumor! Confirmed in several MRIs, been seeing surgeons about surgery, etc.

I’m all for the nofap style approach, which has helped in the past, but this time around, I’ve had sex 3x in the last 3 months, and typically don’t whack it more than once a week. It’s not like I’m pushing the limits at all here. I’d be more inclined to believe it’s performance anxiety, except I have little interest in doing it myself.

I definitely feel it. Most obvious thing still is not getting the afternoon/evening slump anymore. Used to be so bad I backed my car into a fucking fence once. After 8 hours of sleep.

What’re the purple lines about?

That’s the lateral deltoid muscle that I use to inject. You can inject in all three deltoid muscles but that’s the easiest one to start with.

I am totally confused about my latest bloodwork, taken last Wednesday. First of all, I’ve been on 184mg T cyp a week, plus 150IU HCG EOD, and no AI. My previous bloodtest in early Feb showed my T levels unusually low, so I brought my dose up (from 150mg/week, and added HCG). I’m seriously wondering if I have a bad bottle of T cyp.

Guessing my E2 is that low too from taking a lot of Cialis lately.

The CBC stuff is weird, but I’ve been feeling sick. Corona? Who knows.

What do you guys think about all of this?

Check it out:

You know right before I experienced iron deficiency last year I found I needed more and more testosterone to get the same numbers. My testosterone kept declining, hemoglobin, MCH and MCHC were declining.

So naturally I kept increasing the T dosage which only made it worse. I would get an iron panel checking iron, iron saturation, total iron binding capacity and ferritin as well. I had no vitamin C in my diet and wasn’t absorbing iron.

Interesting. I read into this but it seems odd given I eat a good amount of red meat and cook my most lunches and dinners in a cast iron pan.

I could easily add some more vitamin C.

Also, I forgot to say that my CBC from two days prior to this test (from my PCP while I was in there for some leg pain) was normal.

None of these numbers are “extremely off” so I wouldn’t panic…but…

I’m certainly not here to make a diagnosis, but I’m a bit concerned on the kidney numbers. Although there can be short term weirdness, kidneys don’t often show trouble until disease is pretty advanced, so keep an eye on those things (BUN, creatinine, GFR). Have you been taking a lot of ibuprofen or naproxen? antibiotics? diuretics?

The low CO2 is also concerning as it implies you’re a bit acidic / acidotic. If this is chronic rather than a short term thing, it could imply metabolic acidosis - your body making too much acid. This can cause a tired/run down feeling. Could also be adrenal insufficiency (addison’s disease).

I’d say your test vial is fine, otherwise your LH/FSH numbers wouldn’t be in the tank.

How exactly are you getting 184 a week though? What’s the bottle strength (mg/ml) and how are you dosing? That’s…a very strange number. 92 mg E3.5 days is about the only way it works out (like…Sunday morning and Wednesday night)…it’s even a strange number to use once a week.

Hey Louis,

I actually see a nephrologist twice a year from my BUN having been elevated for years. He hasn’t been concerned given a closer look at the numbers. I actually see him in a couple of weeks though so I’ll point this all out.

I did just stop two steroid inhalers so I wouldn’t be surprised if my cortisol is low. Would that trigger the low CO2 in turn? I’ve never seen it low before. Looking at that blood test two days prior, CO2 was 26. I have a feeling I’m either sick and it’s throwing things off, or the lab that processed this was off.

I inject .13mL of 200mg/mL daily. Actually that’s 182mg then!

Thanks for your response

Cool that you’re keeping track, that addresses the concerns I had based on what I know. The cortisol / inhaler thing I’d have to google - past my level of knowledge there. If I get a chance I will, otherwise someone else probably will.

Oh absolutely. And yea as soon as you mentioned Addisons that made me think of the inhaler. Given both are related to low cortisol. I stopped the inhalers last week after my endo and PCP warned me it’s probably too much and likely to cause problems.

The “low” T given my dose is the weirdest part though. It’s been that way on two blood tests now.

You should get a full Iron panel done if you can. Your RBC’s are pretty low for being on TRT.

Also, you could likely benefit from taking methylcobalamin (methylated B12).

I actually requested an iron panel from my PCP who coincidentally ran bloodwork 2 days prior, and they refused, saying that one doesn’t signify an iron problem. Seeing those results definitely was a relief compared to the ones I posted above:

I actually used to take methyl B12, amongst other methylated vitamins, but gave up after years of feeling worse and worse. Not sure why, but all that stuff used to make me feel all sorts of keyed up.

I’d give the methylcobalamin another shot now that you’re on TRT. It’s made a big difference for me even with mid-range B12 levels before starting.

Update…lab results on 200mg/week are in. Good news, got my E2 coming back up. Still my TT is crazy low at that dose, but when the test was done, I had just switched a week earlier. Just gonna hang in there and get another test in a few weeks and see where I’m at. Not worth more jumping around.
