Any music thread always turns into a best band discussion(pissing contest). Lets hear your Dream Concerts. Limit it to 2 concerts and 8 bands for each concert. One for bands currently active and one for bands no longer together or with lineup changes(Gun’s n Roses) or a mix and match. You can include deceased musicians. Put them in order of show. This should start some bitching!

Nevermore
I saw Iron maiden last summer, metallica a few weeks ago, and I’m seeing mayhem tour (cannibal corpse, slayer, etc) this summer.
Since I never saw Hendrix or the Allman Bros with Duane, I would say those 2.
I witnessed Zep, The Who ( 2 bands who had insane drummers that, if they did not die, would STILL be making ROCK), Floyd, Stones, S.R.V., AC/DC with Bon Scott ( they opened for Ted Nugent…LOUDEST concert I was ever at !), Aerosmith, VH, etc.
Beatles?
Rolling Stones back when they were young like 100 years ago.
Elvis
Johnny Cash during any part of his career would have been amazing.
The current band I never miss is Social Distortion. Maybe have Tool open up for them. Deftones before that. Then Arcade Fire would come out and do a small set at the end to kind of wind things down.

It was good to be a teenager in the 70’s !!! [/quote]
I’m so jealous. I would be in heaven if I could just see Floyd or Zeppelin.
But I’ll put:
Opening act: Bad Brains
Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath
Guns n Roses
Pink Floyd
Since I’m a guitarist I would have loved to see people like SRV and Randy Rhoads too.
I have seen Floyd w/o Roger Waters, but I would really pay anything to see them together. I know they are all insanely rich, but I wish they could settle their differences and do a tour for their fans.
I’d pay $500, $1000, whatever. And this time, I’d do it stone cold sober, so I can remember it.

you sir are obviously a moron, I don’t care if he even snitched before he started recording as long as he makes decent music, that’s all that matters. Why is rap the only genre where fans feel as if they need too have credentials before being considered dope?
